Associate Therapist Opportunities

We’re looking for a range of therapists!

Are you an experienced, confident therapist (or psychologist) looking top up your hours? Have you wondered about working in private practice but not wanted to deal with the extra admin?

Therapy Huddersfield is expanding its network of self‑employed associate therapists, and we’d love to hear from you. We are a diverse team of experienced therapists who provide high‑quality counselling and psychotherapy in Huddersfield and the surrounding area. Therapy is usually delivered in‑person from our purpose built centre in Edgerton (Independence House, Holly Bank Road, HD3 3HN), or online and with home visits as needed.

We particularly welcome applications from Therapists or Psychologists working in Education, the NHS or the Charity / Third sector. We can offer additional flexible hours (from just 1 or 2 a week) to suit you and top up your income without the hassle of having to find your clients or pay for your room.

Our role is to introduce you to clients—once placed, the therapist is responsible for their clinical care, professional supervision, and insurance. Therapy Huddersfield remains available for support and to maintain standards across the service.

We focus on the business side of being in practice so that you can concentrate on delivering great therapy. We provide rooms for free, introduce you to clients and offer great rates.
